A Bit About Ina
Harpistina (harpist Ina Yoon) is an award-winning harpist and one of the most active professional harpists in the Auckland area. She was an Ockham Collective residency artist in 2022, working and collaborating with some of New Zealand's most talented writers, musicians, and actors. Ina has trained in classical music for over 25 years and holds a Graduate Diploma in Classical Performance from the University of Auckland.
In 2018, Ina won second prize at the New York Music Competition and was invited to perform at the 4th Korea International Harp Festival in Seoul, South Korea. She is also a former principal harpist of the Auckland Symphony Orchestra and has worked with numerous music groups, including the Manukau Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Youth Orchestra, Polymnia Ensemble, St Matthew's Orchestra, Te Anahera Harp Ensemble, and Blackbird Ensemble.
Ina began her teaching journey in 2017 at her private, home-based studio. She emphasises correct posture and technique from the very beginning and teaches students from beginner to advanced levels, including orchestral repertoire.

A Bit About Yook Hui
Yook Hui received her Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music (Honours) in classical performance (violin) from the University of Auckland. She has also studied harp with Katryna Tan and Yi Jin.
Yook Hui has performed in various orchestras and ensembles in both New Zealand and Malaysia, including the Penang Symphony Orchestra, Penang Harpers, the University of Auckland School of Music Symphony Orchestra, and Te Anahera NZ Harp Ensemble.
A passionate teacher, Yook Hui looks forward to sharing her knowledge and her musical experiences with students of all ages. Yook Hui is fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin.

A Bit About Jay
Jay is a passionate and experienced musician currently pursuing his third year of a Bachelor of Music at the University of Auckland, majoring in Music Studies. His musical journey began at the age of nine with piano, soon expanding to violin, where he played as the first violinist in his school orchestra.
As a teenager, Jay joined an orchestra led by the internationally acclaimed conductor Gum Nanse, participating in numerous international performances. His high school years were marked by notable achievements, including:

Jay was accepted into the University of Auckland for Classical, Jazz, and Music Studies, showcasing his versatility and strong foundation across genres.
